Mediation Services

Michelle Cash focuses her mediation practice exclusively on employment matters, including litigation, pre-litigation, proceedings in ancillary court, EEOC charges, and other employment disputes.  She is available for full- and half-day mediations.

Background and Experience

Biography

Michelle Hoogendam Cash has over 25 years of experience in employment and labor matters.  Michelle started out as a defense lawyer, spent time as in-house counsel, and worked for a plaintiff’s employment firm before founding The Cash Law Firm in 2012.  She has been Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1995.



Michelle’s varied experience allows her to view employment conflicts from a practical, as well as a legal, perspective.  Her time as a plaintiff's lawyer helps her understand the employee’s perspective, while her defense experience helps her see issues on that side of the docket.  Michelle's tenure in corporate legal departments gives her the ability to understand the pressures faced by corporate clients, including litigation budgets, as well as the intangible issues of morale and support for management decisions.  Michelle’s work history enables her to present a nuanced approach to tackling employment law disputes that is unique and valuable.
